Its amazing how Filipinos idolize Manny Pacquiao. Everybody wants to jump aboard Pacquiao's popularity. The common masses
are contented with shout of joy and pure adulations with him. What spoils all these are the appearance of clearly opportunistic people who seems to smile big and wide ahen photographed near or beside Pacquiao.
This is not unusual for the Filipinos, more so with the upcoming elections. Its like beeing seen with Pacquiao would give them an edge. Manny cannot even win if he runs in his native congressional district so what made them think they too will?

Only in the Philippines i guess, where almost all facets in day to day affairs needs you to line up. Take for instance, in getting a jeepney ride even in taking an elevator ride.Though its not true on the countryside but its becoming a normal thing in Manila
Right from getting off the boat, people are in a hurry to get ahead on line, then at the shuttle bus same story. The worst is at the LRT MRT station, the sight is just very horrible for the ladies, really.

Negros Navigation ship ride
Almost i did not get into St. Joseph ship of Negros Navigation shipping Company.I was the last to get aboard. Surprise to to my surprise ,who could have thought that this shipping company still offering a first come first serve accomodation.Im talking of bunks where passengers do not have to follow the assigned bunks on their tickets. That was kind weird to me, as i got into the ship and the welcoming crew led me to find whatever bunk i would like to. I was adamant at first because in the first place i had my ticket upgraded (300pesos additional)by the ticketing outlet saying the cehapest accomdation are all taken. Also, it is just the better way to have an accomodation.
They are as adamant in telling me that thats how they are doing it since they cannot control the ticketing outlet in issuing an accomodation already issued. That was the explanation which i cannot accept.Anyway i finlyy settled after transferring twice.
I thought that would be the least of my discomfort , but along the Antique coastline, i was just hearing it from other passenger though, for about three hours we cruising half the speed. The starboard side engine was being troubleshoot! Wow, its good that we are out from the typhoon that just came in through Mindanao
Then at the Iloilo port it was anonounced that they are not allowing passengers to get down during the 1.5 hrs announced stop[over. C'mmon, why are they not telling it before when i had my brother in law texted to met me at the pier for some important talks. I cannot be denied and i made it sure to the desk that they have to let me go down. Thets one good thing that impresses me with the crew, they are courteous and have patience as well. But that was to be tested with the restaurant crew as people start to become irritated due to delay of the arriveal. We are scheduled to arrive at 4PM but its past 7PM and Manila cant be seen on the horizon yet. People got hungry and started to make a line, demanding for a free meal. Just picture out a hungry packed of hyenas waiting on line making a lot of noise. After about an hour, they finally allow free meal. Thanks to them they understand at leadt how is it like being delayed and being hungered travelling in a ship. But they should have decided earlier though.
